FAQ's (Frequently
Asked Questions!)
Many of your questions are answered here.
I heard that Stryper recorded
their 2004 concert in Puerto Rico for release on DVD.
When is this DVD coming out?
The DVD is in the process of being edited. Since it
was shot in March of 2004, Stryper has been presented
with some potentially exciting opportunities that would
allow this DVD to be released on a much larger scale
and marketed in a manner deserving for such an incredible
project. As a result, the release date has not been
set, but rest assured that it WILL be released. When
more information is available, an update will be sent
to everyone on the Stryper.com email list and posted
here at Stryper.com.
I would like to purchase the Stryper
videos Live In Japan and In The Beginning. Are they
still availible?
The Stryper videos are out of print. Some original
copies can be found around the Internet on various auction
and trading websites, however, we do caution that there
are equally as many "bootleg" copies of these
available. These bootleg versions are typically low
quality and we encourage you to shy away from such items.
Not to mention, it is illegal to buy or sell bootleg
copies.
Why doesn't Stryper release their
M-TV videos on DVD?
Hollywood Records is the controlling entity to these
videos, and as of this time, has no plans to release
these on DVD. Unfortunately, this is out of Stryper's
hands for the moment.
I heard that there was a Stryper
book published. How can I purchase it?
The book, titled Loud n Clear, was published in 2001
by End Game Entertainment. Unfortunately, the book is
out of print and there are no plans to re-release it.
Like many of the hard to find collectibles of the past,
some have popped up on internet auction sites from time
to time.
Can Stryper send me an autographed
picture?
Due to the overwhelming amount of requests for autographed
pictures, Stryper is simply unable to accommodate each
one. However, from time to time, Stryper will offer
rare autographed items in the merchandise section of
Stryper.com. If there are none currently listed, then
unfortunately there are none available at the time.
I'm involved with [insert name
here]. Can I have some CD's for this fund raiser/missions
outreach/church?
While we greatly appreciate everyone interested in
using Stryper music for their organization, there are
incredible costs that go into producing, recording,
and manufacturing CD's. Free CD's are unfortunately
not available, however, when purchased in bulk, Stryper
CD's can be offered at a discounted rate. Contact the
Deep South Entertainment office (Stryper Management)
to inquire about this.
I've written several emails to
insert name here, yet I have not received a reply. Why?
Stryper receives an enormous amount of fan mail and
while we greatly appreciate each and every one, it is
impossible to respond to each mail personally. However,
Stryper's management does have a full time staff that
reads each mail and responds as best possible to each
one. And while we understand that sending mail to the
management office may not seem as "personal"
as sending it directly to the band, the management office
IS in contact with the band daily and will relay any
important information / requests to the band personally.
The best place to send ALL Stryper fan mail is to Stryper@DeepSouthEntertainment.com.
I live in insert name here. How
can I get Stryper to play here?
All booking inquires should be sent to Stryper's booking
agent, The William Morris Agency based in Nashville,
TN. Contact information for them can be found in the
"contact us" section of Stryper.com.
Please reserve this for serious inquiries only made
by professional promoters and concert talent buyers.
If you are not a professional promoter or concert talent
buyer, but would still like to be involved in having
Stryper play in your area, we suggest you research professional
promoters in your area and first contact them as a liaison
between you and Stryper's booking agent.
If you are a fan, and would just like to express interest
in Stryper coming to your area, please send this to
Stryper@DeepSouthEntertainment.com. These requests are
indeed taken seriously, and if enough different people
are requesting Stryper play in a certain market, this
is taken into account when tours are booked and routed.
I'm a concert promoter/journalist/etc..
How do I reach the band?
Concert promoters should contact the William Morris
Agency. Journalists and radio stations should contact
Deep South Entertainment by writing Amanda Cates at
Amanda@DeepSouthEntertainment.com.
I heard a rumor, but it's not
on the web site. Why not?
If it's not on Stryper.com, then it's just that, a
rumor and most likely not true. All official news and
business is posted on Stryper.com. Stryper.com is the
direct link to the fans by way of Stryper and Stryper's
management. Stryper management reports all official
news and information directly to Stryper.com first.
I'm a huge Stryper fan! Is there
anything I can do to help out the band?
We appreciate every fan that wants to help out Stryper.
Even after 20 years in the business, it is still incredibly
encouraging to us that fans want to help out. The best
way to help out is old fashioned "word of mouth."
Tell your friends about Stryper, their latest records,
and what they have meant to you as a band. No form of
advertising or marketing in the world tops having a
true fan share their passion of this music with another
on a personal level. This really does make a difference.
It's how Stryper got started and it's why Stryper continues
even 20 years later.
From time to time, we will ask for help from the fans
in promoting shows, hanging flyers, or helping spread
the word about something new with Stryper.com. In such
occasions, an email would be sent out to the Stryper.com
email list.
