If you're a Stryper fan with internet access, you have no doubt heard about the upcoming October 9th movie Whip It. It's the directorial debut by actress Drew Barrymore, and features a Stryper shirt in many scenes throughout the movie!
While Stryper fans will immediately recognize the logo and the image on the shirt, what they might not know is that the shirt is actually a concert bootleg.
Concert bootlegs were shirts that were mass produced by someone looking to make a fast buck, and sold outside the venue where the band is playing. They are normally inferior to the official shirts, both in the quality of the shirt and the graphics.
There is an official shirt similar to the one in the movie, but there are several differences:
